We have been lucky enough to have been part of the Local Business Awards since 2007. We were a finalist in '07 and for our first time taking part in the Awards, were quite nervous. As it turned out we were first place in our category taking home the win.
2008 saw a new Awards night and another opportunity. Again as a finalist we enjoyed the night’s festivities and once again took home the win for our category.
2009 was another exciting Awards night. This year would be a little different in the way things were run. We again were a finalist, in a totally different category to usual. Unclear as to why, but we were out with Florists and "The Fairies". An interesting choice for a bike shop! This time we had no idea what would happen and it turned out that we were runners’ up to a florist. Hopefully next time we will be put in a more appropriate category!
